Art for Wellness: Women’s Wellness Series

Join a transformative art experience designed for women to connect, create, and express. This course offers a supportive space to explore emotions, reflect on inner experiences, and foster emotional well-being through visual art. Using colour, form, and texture as tools for self-expression, participants will engage in guided exercises, collaborative reflection, and playful art-making.
Guided by certified BC teacher and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Jen Teare, you will explore therapeutic techniques including mindfulness, guided meditations and imagery, and art journaling, all designed to deepen your mind body connection. A variety of mediums—paint, pastels, coloured pens, and pencil crayons—will be available, with a focus on the creative process rather than the final product.
Whether you come solo or with a friend, this course encourages connection with like-minded women, nurturing both individual expression and shared creativity. No prior art experience is required—just openness to explore, express, and engage. Leave with your own artwork, renewed insight, and a sense of inspiration, empowerment, and emotional resilience.
